Donate to Make a Difference
There is no financial requirement to participate in Circle of Friends events, but a minimum donation of $10 to the event’s designated non-profit is greatly appreciated. Continue reading about the donation process or donate now.
How to Donate
- Pressing the Donate button will take you to the Circle of Friends charitable fund, held at the Collier Community Foundation.
- Donations made within 1 month before and 1 day after a specific event will automatically be donated to that event’s non-profit.
- Donations made outside of the time frame above will be directed to Circle of Friends, and the Circle of Friends Advisory Board will distribute the funds to local non-profits selected for this season.
- For example, our kick-off event was held on October 11, 2025, to benefit Weekend Meals by UUCGN. A donation to Circle of Friends between September 11, 2025 (1 month before the Weekend Meals event) and October 12, 2025 (1 day after the Weekend Meals event) automatically designates your donation for Weekend Meals. Donations made outside of that time frame, for example, on October 13th, would not be designated for the benefit of Weekend Meals, but would be distributed to the Children’s Advocacy Center, as the next non-profit scheduled for an event in November.
Circle of Friends does not have any paid staff; we are an entirely volunteer-based organization, and we do not pay any salaries or administrative expenses from donated funds. Therefore, 100% of your donation will be passed along to the designated non-profits.
