About Circle of Friends

We launched our first season of Circle of Friends in January 2025.  As government funding for existing programs became uncertain, our friends who are the most involved in a variety of amazing non-profits in the Naples area came together.  Collectively, we support organizations that are helping our neighbors with basic needs, like food and housing, as well as address other important community needs in health care, education, public safety and the environment.

Our goal is to raise awareness of the great work that is already happening in Naples, to connect people with new friends who are active with different non-profits, and to encourage everyone to get involved in some way, including opportunities to make small dollar donations and volunteer time to make this community stronger for all.  We believe that small steps to help each other can add up to make a meaningful difference.

In Circle of Friends, we focus on non-profits that support the most vulnerable people in our community, as well as a wide variety of inspiring organizations that are making an impact to improve well-being for all of us.  Our Advisory Board identifies non-profits that need additional support, encourages proposals to participate in walkathons and then votes to determine which non-profits the Circle of Friends will support each season.
